Injuries, Shkodran Mustafi Threatened to Play for months

Germany’s Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi is in danger of missing months after strengthening his country in the 2018 World Cup Qualifying round

Mustafi only played 36 minutes against Azerbaijan in the last match of Group C on Sunday (08/10/2017).

He left the field limping and was replaced by Matthias Ginter.

“I think Mustafi’s muscles are torn and it looks serious,” said Germany coach Joachim Loew, as quoted by from ESPN.

Although there has been no official diagnosis, the former Valencia defender is feared to be absent for a long time.

“This injury might force him to rest for several months,” Loew said.

Absence of Mustafi will be a loss for Arsenal.

So far, he has appeared five times in the Premier League and helped the Gunners berenalas team climbed the ladder of the standings until now occupying the fifth position.
